Promenade des Anglais in Nice

The wide walking lane stretches from the airport to the old town, a distance of about 7 km.

Apartment or studio at the Promenade des Anglais
With a bit of searching you can find affordable apartments, directly at the Promenade. They have a spectacular view. There are two disadvantages to mention: because the boulevard is so long the distance to the center or the old town can be remarkable. This doesn't need to be a problem (the bus stops at many places and a ride costs only 1,50 euro), but you should be aware of the distance of your house to the center. The second disadvantage is the noise: the Promenades des Anglais has on the most places six lanes. Especially the traffic accelerating at trafic lights (mostly scooters) disturb the idyllic view a bit if you sit on the balcony.
